Benefits of Membership

Working with nurse educators, practice leaders, nurse researchers and others committed to the evolution of nurse science leadership around the globe, ALSN serves as a network for advancing evidence-based leadership practice and educational policy/practice, developing national platforms, and distributing information about administrative and leadership education. As a member of ALSN you are helping to shape the future of nursing leadership and develop recommendations for administrative and leadership research.

  • Through the ALSN website you can search for and network with other educators, practice leaders, researchers and other leadership science experts to solve challenges and form creative partnerships internationally.
  • As a member, you will have access to webinars, hot topic happy hours, white papers, the member only discussion board on this website and other programs offered by ALSN.
  • ALSN members can attend the organization's annual international conference where prominent researchers, practice and education leaders, and PhD/DNP/MSN students share in the scholarship of leadership and health system research.
  • Finally, a benefit of full individual ALSN membership is an annual subscription to The Journal of Nursing Administration (JONA). Once your membership to ALSN has been processed, you will begin to receive JONA at no additional cost to you.

“Being a member of ALSN is a great privilege! It has provided me the professional opportunity to work with diverse educational and administrative leaders from around the country and the globe. It has been an opportunity to be part of something great!”
