  • The Association for Leadership Science in Nursing (ALSN) Board of Directors (BOD) identified the need to develop guidelines/criteria to guide the development, implementation, evaluation and review or accreditation of Nursing Leadership Graduate Specialty programs in the United States. It is also expected that these guidelines/criteria may be used to guide the development of new Nursing Leadership Graduate Specialty programs and to conduct self-evaluation of new and existing programs.

  1. Explore guidelines/criteria for the development, implementation and evaluation of Nursing Leadership Specialty programs.
  2. Encourage questions and input from webinar participants on the criteria.

  • This activity was developed to meet the needs of all levels of Nursing Faculty and all nurses across the continuums of care that serve as preceptors for nursing leadership and administration students.
  • This webinar is also appropriate for providers and/or providers-in-training from diverse healthcare professions including physicians, nurses, dentists, physician assistants, pharmacists, and program administrators.
